We've been on the lookout for some fun outdoor toys for Emerson. She saw this the other day in Mom and Baby Again and fell in love. Hard to say no when someone is so excited!
Her baby went right in for a test ride.We've been blessed to move into a new neighborhood with many kids. Yesterday we spent part of the day at the beach with new friends. Wonderful weather and fun company!
Riding to the beach in style.Today marks one year of blogging for me. I can't believe a whole year has gone by! This last year has brought many big changes for my family--my husband has taken on a new position at work (which he loves), I have taken on new responsibilities at work (which I don't love, but am feeling better about), we sold our house and we were able to find a new one that we are really enjoying.
I love having this blog to look back at to remind me of all our events. I know I don't blog everyday, but sometimes life just needs to come first. My goal for this new blogging year is to share a little bit more each month with you. There are a lot of thoughts weighing on my heart and mind that I don't always have the courage to share. I hope to push myself to step out of my comfort zone and be bold!
Emerson Grace, Tulip Time one year ago (2009)Holland's annual Tulip Time festival is in full swing. Jeremy took Emerson downtown the other day and he surprised me with pictures! Last year she was really too little to enjoy the tulips, but this year she is having a great time with the "pretties!"
Ever since she was very little, Emerson has been enthralled with all things found outside. Bugs, leaves, pine cones, water, ducks, birds and especially the sunshine. She has been loving our new house. So many new rooms to explore! However, the highlight most certainly is the fenced in backyard with the pond just beyond it. She is constantly on the lookout for peep-peeps, duck-ducks and hop-hops. These special friends show their faces daily, making for one very content little girl.

beautiful flowers from wonderful friends bloom! Life has been very hectic with the move as well as the construction going on at our new house (while we are trying to live in it!). I will post some pictures of the remodel soon!
