Summer is really flying by! I can't believe June is over already! We've been enjoying our days....frequenting Tunnel Park, taking walks, going downtown, blowing bubbles and playing in the sandbox.
Emerson must know it's summer because she has been getting up too early and going to bed too late. Considering all the fun we're having in between--it's totally worth it!
Another one of our favorite activities--sidewalk chalk! (Jeremy's drawing of Emerson.)Today we took Emerson for a long awaited haircut. Nothing drastic, just an inch off the bottom. I bribed her with a sucker but totally didn't need to---she sat in the chair like a champ!
We have been on the look out for some things for Emerson, namely a bike and some other age-appropriate toys. Through the generosity of friends as well as scoping out some local garage sales, we came across some great finds! Emerson is now the proud owner of a pink and purple bike, a play kitchen set and all the dishes to match and a crib rail for her soon-to-be Big Girl bed (Don't know if she's so excited about that one!) Thanks to everyone who has been watching out for us as we searched for these items!
